Outside Breeze’s
Mansion The rain is falling to the ground, every drop of water, every drop of H20 making a small decibel of sound on the hard concrete beneath it. The moon sits in the sky, looking down over earth and its inhabitants, bathing half of the planet in her light, glorious, powerful. Something to stand in awe of. Beneath her astounding rays of light standing on the man made stoned pavement, outside the huge mansion on the rock hard ground is James Breeze, it is a particularly cold night and the rain is thundering down heavily. He decides that before the water seeps through his clothes onto his bare skin he may as well enter his Ferrari, as he enters the car, the large clock a half mile away at the edge of New York blasts out a huge ringing set of notes signalling the start of yet another hour Ring…
Ring… Ring… Ring… Ring… Ring… Ring… Seven
times The
car wheels screeches against the floor, friction setting in and the water
beneath the tyres adding to the noise, the car bursts from a stationary
position to 40 miles per hour in mere seconds. James Breeze speeds up to just
less than 50mph, the maximum speed limit for that particular road. He
continues to drive towards his destination… Outside
Leon Holmes’ Mansion Leon Holmes’ mansion looks huge as he drives through the steel imposing gates. The guard noticing the car of James Breeze and immediately giving him admittance. James Breeze, in his Modena parks up and knocks onto the huge doors of KWA CEO Leon Holmes’. A tall balding man opens the vast doors and doesn’t bother to ask any questions. He stands aside for James Breeze and then closes the door, turns abruptly on his heel and starts to walk in an almost military fashion towards a large oak door, yards away. Both men enter, on a long table covered in fine white silk sits Leon Holmes. He has a bottle of beer next to him and his face looks unshaven, he is pouring over paperwork, his eyes jump off the papers to look at Breeze. Although it looks like he hasn’t slept in a while his eyes are as always very alert. Breeze walks over and stands next to him Leon:
Sit down Breeze
nods and sits on a chair Leon:
Thank you for coming Breeze:
It’s alright Leon:
You know that the Kennebuck Wrestling Association has been under heavy
difficulties Breeze:
I do Leon:
Well it looks like I’ll be going back to the XWF to work with Hawk Breeze’s
expression doesn’t change Breeze:
Okay Leon
looks slightly surprised at Breeze’s casual reaction but he quickly masks it Breeze:
So I am here because you want me to come to the XWF? Leon:
Yes, very perceptive Breeze:
You have to be when it involved your career, your income Leon:
Indeed Breeze:
Okay then Leon:
Are you at all effected by this? Breeze:
In a way, but it’s just another federation, a new job if you will. As usual
I will get on with it Leon:
Okay, thank you Breeze:
No problem Leon:
Have you spoken to Ace recently? Breeze:
Of course, does he know about this? Leon:
Yes Breeze:
I will see
him tomorrow Leon:
Once I have signed my contract, pen to paper instead of verbally then I will
have a certain amount of control in the XWF Breeze:
Yes, I expected that Leon:
You know I can be nothing but neutral towards you Breeze:
Yes, it would be an insult for you to try to assist me, we both know I need no
help Leon:
Truly, a contract should be coming through to you soon Breeze:
I will watch out for it Leon:
That’s all I wanted to say Breeze:
Okay, well I’ll see you in the XWF Leon:
You will, you will Breeze:
Till then… Leon Holmes Breeze
walks back out of the room and into the hallway. He moves at a stately pace to
the exit and then walks to his Ferrari 360 Modena, enters and drives back to
the huge mansion he lives in. He walks to his room, oblivious to his
surroundings through cause of exhaustion. The break from wrestling has made
him a little lazy and he has been unsettled since. It would all change now,
Holmes had finally gone back to XWF and now so had Breeze. He just had to sign
the contract and soon enough he would be wrestling again. Once again that
exhilarating feeling would hit, when thousands of people showed up to see you
wrestle. When your blood would pump with excitement and anticipation and drive
and thirst for victory. And with defeat came that bitter dissapointment but it
was worth it because the feeling victory gave you more than compensated for
it, and Breeze missed that feeling, he would soon enough get it back and he
would soon enough chance his abilities and strengths against any opponents and
the better wrestler would win. He quickly got undressed and lay under his
covers in bed. He sighed with content and then quickly drifted away into
darkness, darkness of reality but more than enough light of your own world,
the world you make when you sleep. Exhaustion had finally won over and now his
body was healing, so was his mind. Preparing themselves for the battles in XWF
ahead. Breeze’s
Mansion The
next morning Breeze awoke to the bright light of the suns rays coming through
his open windows, the curtain drapes had been pulled back by the maid. Breeze
was definitely going to have a few words with that young maid he thought to
himself. He had caught more headaches from blinding light in the bitter start
of morning than he had from pile drivers. He decided to himself he would speak
to Ace, his tag team partner and a veteran in the XWF, a fellow veteran in
wrestling and more than capable of looking after himself. He would be as good
as Breeze one day, he thought to himself, well almost. He wasn't quite sure he
should say that to Ace, he is a big man after all and a man's ego is very
large but also very sensitive, and although the ever confident Breeze was sure
that he could handle himself against Ace, he didn't want to put his friendship
in jeopardy or receive those fists in his face this early in the morning by
mentioning that fact to him Breeze
had a shower, like he usually did. He stepped out feeling refreshed and got
dressed. The last thing he clothed himself in was his white bandana. He tied
it round and then walked downstairs, he didn't bother to stop for breakfast
but instead grabbed a turkey sandwich and ate it on his way over to Ace's
mansion. Mansions were the only buildings Breeze had seen recently, and it
showed just how rich the people he knew were. He stepped out of his car once
he reached the huge house of Ace, and entered the house. As usual the front
door was open. He walked into the living room. Ace is sat on a large black
comfortable looking sofa with his hand grasped around a bottle of Budweiser.
On the floor next to him is a large cooler full of assorted liquiers of
alcohol. The room is elaborately furnished and has many electronic pieces of
equipment everywhere. Ace turns his head as Breeze enters, his face breaking
into a broad grin Breeze’s
Mansion Ace:
Breeze, long time no see man Breeze:
Indeed, what have you been up to? Ace:
Well, I've been teaching a rookie lately, Strider Breeze:
An annoyance? Ace:
Who isn't these days? Breeze:
Indeed Breeze
sits down on a long leather couch a few feet away from Ace Breeze:
You heard about Holmes and the whole XWF thing? Ace:
I sure did. Hawk sent us all a document in the mail stating what has taken
place and why. Quite intriguing. Breeze:
Indeed, I have been told I will be receiving a contract soon, it looks like I
will be joining you in XWF Ace:
Good, when need guys like you to teach people like Zero and Void. They both
think that they're hot in and out of the ring. I say that they now have a
brick wall in their path! Breeze:
Well you know me, I will take care of what is put in my way whoever they are.
What is so special about Zero and Void for you to bring their names up, are
they good or just particularly annoying? Ace:
Well, Zero is both, but I've beat him. And let's be honest with ourselves, if
I can beat him....you could too. And, Void, Breeze:
I've heard about both, and their reputations are good. It may come to a day
when I have to fight them. What is this Hawk guy like? I always like to know
what the people who pay my wages are like Ace:
Hawk? Hmm, well he's definitely been better since the hiatus. He's an over-all
great guy, unless that is, you're against him. Breeze:
I am neutral towards him, as I am in everything, as you know. It evades
unneccesary complications. So... this Strider a fitting opponent for you? Ace:
Not quite.... Breeze:
Oh? Ace:
He's a complete loser. He's won two or three matches in his whole tenure with
the XWF and thinks he deserves to be the next "Ace." Breeze
laughs: You
can cure him of that I'm sure Ace: Positively. He's nothing compared to me. So, compared to you...well, he's still nothing. But, I'll let his little head grow bigger and bigger until Death Row, then I'll cut it off. Breeze:
Don't let it get too big, he won't be able to even make it to the match if he
can't fit through a door Ace
laughing: Oops, too late then Breeze:
Damn, it happens Ace:
So, what, or who, have you set your eyes on in the XWF? Breeze:
I don't have the faintest idea my friend. I don't want to run in guns blazing.
As you said Hawk can be tricky if you aren't on his side. I don't want him to
take an instantanious dislike if I start requesting championship matches and
top superstars like some ambitious empty headed young wrestler with barely
enough talent to win a match against a 4'3, 90lbs midget, like some. Maybe
Strider falls under that category though Breeze
grins Breeze:
But I definetely don't Ace
starts rolling in laughter. After half a minute or so, he calms himself and
begins to speak. Ace:
After you debut, Breeze, guys will be handing their titles to you! Breeze:
Thank you,
but let's see how it goes first before we start jumping to these conclusions Ace:
Ok, suit yourself. Breeze:
So where's that butler of yours? Ace:
The staff patriarch you mean? Well, he's up stairs. My room needed a good
cleaning. So, it's getting one Breeze:
I hope he
gets paid a lot, I've seen the state of that room from time to time Ace:
He's paid quite well. And it's not my fought it get's dirty!...Well, yeah it
is, but that's beside the point! Breeze
laughs: Well
if he gets paid enough... then it's alright. Poor man. You requested a match
for this TNT? Ace:
Hell no! I'm only a part-time XWF Superstar now! Hawk should just be glad I'm
even wrestling nowadays. It's not like I can't afford to live without
werstling, it's just what I love. And, I wrestle when I feel like it. No, I
haven't. And I'm not wrestling until Death Row Breeze:
Death Row? I pressume that's the next pay-per-view, when's that taking place? Ace:
Fuck, I don't know. In two weeks I think. We have one more T.N.T until it, so
yeah, two weeks. Breeze:
I see, you
confident you'll beat this overconfident ameteur? Ace:
Yeah, I am pretty confident about it. And, like I've told him, he's not the
first guy to challenge Ace who thinks that he deserves to be higher up than
anyone else. This guy has bit of more than he can chew Breeze:
Why did he challenge you particularly, something personal? Ace:
No, he went on and on about how if you want to make it higher in the XWF, you
have to be the higher-ups. And, he chose me to try to climb over. Breeze:
Wrong choice Ace:
Yeah it was a worng choice. But, then again, I made a lot of those in my past. Breeze:
So could you say that you're teaching him a small lesson then Ace:
Yeah, I've been saying that. Breeze
stands up Ace:
Where are you going? Breeze:
I have somewhere to be Ace:
Where? Breeze:
I'll tell you later, I'll phone your cell phone later and we'll talk then,
okay? Ace:
Yeah, I'll see you later Breeze
grabs a full bottle of ice cold beer from the chiller next to Ace and quickly
leaves before Ace can object, he again enters his Ferrari and drives to the
XWF arena. Breeze drives through the streets for a while before driving into a
large parking area of a huge arena. People are walking backwards and forwards,
all rushing to set TNT up on time. Breeze walks through the arena, seeing many
faces. None he reckognizes though. He thought to himself that that would
change pretty soon. After a few minutes of walking on his god given legs and
help from friendly but impatient members of XWF crew he found the office of
Hawk. After knocking on and a friendly, vibrant voice okaying it from the
other side, Breeze entered the room. Hawk was writing something as Breeze
entered. Breeze waited until Hawk raised his head then was given a signal to
sit down. Breeze walked over to the large oak wood table and sat down across
from Hawk. XWF
Arena – Hawk’s Office Breeze
can see straight away that Hawk is a likable person. His manner being very
relaxed and cool. Probably someone who doesn’t lose his temper very easily. Hawk:
Welcome to the XWF James Breeze Breeze:
Thank you Hawk:
I’ve been expecting you to come by and ask about your contract and your
debut, etcetera… Breeze:
Well that is why I am here now Hawk:
Yeah, well I sorted it out today Breeze:
Oh? Hawk:
Yes, I have your contract here, I thought you could sign it in person instead
of waiting for it in the post Breeze:
Good idea Hawk:
Mine always are Hawk
grins Breeze:
And my debut? Hawk:
This week, against a newcomer from our development federation RWF Breeze:
Who? Hawk:
A Matt Storm, seems like an able wrestler Breeze:
Okay Hawk:
Are you
happy with that? Breeze:
Anyone will
do, as long as it is a decent wrestler Hawk
laughs: Okay Hawk
takes something out of his drawers, a thick booklet and hands it to Breeze Breeze accepts it and reads intently, after a few minutes and at the end of the contract, he picks up a pen supplied to him by Hawk and signs it Hawk:
Welcome to
the XWF James Breeze Breeze
and Hawk shake hands Breeze:
Thank you Hawk:
Here’s the match contract Hawk
hands Breeze a piece of paper Breeze
quickly signs it and hands it back Hawk:
Well it’s official, you will be expected to make a small statement or set of
statements if you will in an XWF interview Breeze:
When? Hawk:
As soon as possible Breeze:
I will do it now Hawk:
Good idea Breeze:
Where is the interview room? Hawk:
The one that is free at the moment is down the hall, turn left and down that
corridor, Interview Room 3 will be inhabited by only an interviewer and a
cameraman, with a place set up for you. I called them as soon as I heard you
where in the building, just in case you decided to use it Breeze:
Well thought of Hawk
shrugs Hawk:
It comes naturally Breeze
laughs and leaves the room Breeze
already made up his mind about Hawk after only a few minutes, he decided he
liked the vibrant boss, he knew his personality went much deeper than that but
so did everyone’s in one way or another. Breeze continued to walk down the
corridors. Dressed in his black t-shirt, black baggy Nike pants, Shox trainers
and a white bandana to keep his flowing blonde/brown hair back. He soon found
the room he was instructed to reach by the XWF Boss Hawk. He entered to find
an extremely attractive woman there and a large man who probably are a few too
many donuts and drank a few too many beers in his life. The large and quite
plump man quickly got up and stood behind a set-up with a camera. The
short-skirted woman smiled at Breeze and sat on a chair, across from the chair
there stood a black leather sofa. Breeze sat down on it, as was customary when
getting interviewed. XWF
Arena – Interview Room 3 Interviewer:
Hello, I’m Amanda Hands James
Breeze:
Yeah, I’ve seen you somewhere before, on a porn video I think Amanda
laughing: Yeah, that’s probably me then James
Breeze stares at the size of her breasts then averts his gaze to her face Amanda:
I’ve done my research on you, James Breeze and I have to say very, very
impressive, I know you’re a professional so let’s skip the tedious hellos
and begin this Breeze
laughing:
You’ve got a good grip on reality and I like to skip formalities Amanda:
Okay, well we’ll begin in 5…4…3…2…1 The
red light on the camera glows Amanda:
Hello James Breeze, the XWF is one of the biggest wrestling federations in the
world, to make it here you have to have many qualities, to get signed here you
also have to have many qualities, those which you seem to have. How do you
think you will cope with your first match against the up and coming star from
the development program of RWF? Breeze: I think he has potential but he will not come close to defeating me, confidence is vital and I hope he has some, or this match will be more of an embarrassment. I respect Hawk’s decision to put the debutants against each other, I just feel sorry for poor Matt Storm, he will impress me by giving me a decent fight but as for coping with him, it will be like taking a piss Amanda
tries to stifle a laugh Amanda:
Okay, eyes on any belts or any people here in the XWF Breeze:
Someone asked me that before, same answer. No, I’ll take each match as it
comes. It isn’t my place to request matches with the top superstars or to
start grabbing for straws to get a shot at any belt. That is Hawk’s decision
and I will leave it up to him. The only thing I am going to worry about is
beating my opponents. Focusing on a match is very important and that is
exactly what I will be doing, not backstage politics where they squabble over
the scraps of someone’s table for some shot at a title Amanda:
Okay, who is this someone that asked you before? Breeze:
Ace Amanda:
You know Ace? Breeze:
Very well Amanda:
How is that? Breeze:
We are tag partners Amanda:
Oh, okay. What do you think of him? Breeze:
Good wrestler, good guy. He’s in this week’s main event so he is
improving. With a lot of hard work and a bit of luck you could be looking at
the new XWF World Champion in Ace. He definitely has potential. A good friend,
he is someone I respect Amanda:
Are you confident he will win this match? Breeze:
I am, I would never underestimate Ace and regardless of his personal feelings
towards Void or mine, we both know Void is a good wrestler and with his help
Ace should overcome Shadow and Strider Amanda:
Your feelings towards Void are? Breeze:
I’d rather not say, I will express them if our paths ever cross. I would not
like to use this interview as an excuse to piss him off and therefore start a
match. People should climb the ladder from the bottom, and not from the top.
That is what I am going to do Amanda:
Good and true point. What made you decide to come to the XWF? Breeze: It is a large federation that is very successful. It has many very good wrestlers, it has a good owner and a lot of money pouring into it, for the wrestlers. Many opportunities and a place that will be fun to wrestle in Amanda:
Indeed Breeze:
And it also has you in it, you and those two things you carry on your chest,
that makes it worth it all Amanda
laughs: Any
last words to say to the XWF superstars? Breeze:
I am here to win and win is what I shall do, nothing can successfully stand in
my way, nothing can block my path. With each victory I grow stronger, better.
I have only just started here at the XWF but I have more wins than hairs on my
head and I am powerful. I am a very good wrestler, beating me is no easy task.
I have no goals yet, I will take each match as it comes, and I will win each
match as it comes. I am not saying this to be cocky or arrogant, I am saying
this because it is simply the truth. When this Breeze blows there will be
no-one left standing. No-one whether it be a 200lber or a 500lber, and its
like that because that’s the way it is. I will not go out of my way for
fights but I do need people to fight, and if you’re unlucky enough to be
drafted against me then you will fall under my reign of victories, you will
fall under my almighty hand, you will fall like a sack of rice, another
opponent, another victory. Whether you like it or not I am here to make an
impact and it is an impact I shall make, the Breeze is blowing your way now
and you’re to feel My Hate! Amanda
nods to the cameraman and the light fades on the camera signalling the end of
recording Breeze
says his goodbyes and thanks to the attractive porn star turned interviewer
and the overweight cameraman and leaves the interview room He
continues to walk through the corridors and knocks on the room of Hawk, again
the vibrant, relaxed voice comes through the door, in a ring of acceptance and
Breeze enters Breeze:
I am going now, okay? Hawk:
Okay, have a good day Breeze:
I will, I’ll talk to you soon Hawk:
Okay, talk to you soon Breeze
closes the door behind him and walks to his Ferrari in the parking lot,
driving through the streets eager to get home. He was going to go back to
Ace’s but he couldn’t be bothered. Ace would understand. A red light came
on and he stopped. He drove again and finally reached the gates. He parked up
and stepped out of the mansion. Breeze’s
Mansion He entered his mansion and again skips dinner with Fudge, Lauren and Hayley. Things have been going very fast lately and his first match in the XWF is nearing. There were many wars ahead, many wars behind him. But he got through as he will in the XWF, no-one could or can stand in his way. His drive was just too strong. Ace was in XWF, that was a help at least he knew someone. Matt Storm on the other hand was clueless, a shame for him to have such a match so soon in his XWF career. But everyone loses once in a while and the loss would probably do him good. He could learn a great deal and get better. Obviously Breeze had nothing against this wrestler fresh out of the RWF but he would do what was needed to win, as he always did.
