Same Opponent, Same Outcome

Ace’s Locker Room – XWF Arena
2.04pm Sunday 31st August

James Breeze sat on the comfortable black leather couch. The room was cool with the air conditioning and the television gave out a certain amount of sound. The sound echoed round the room as James Breeze and Adam ‘Ace’ Miller relaxed in front of a huge television monitor. A moment or so after the show they were watching finished, there was a knock on the door. Before Ace could answer Leon Holmes gracefully walked into the room, the way he was walking portraying himself as the emperor of the world. Breeze’s face was obviously disapproving. Trailing along behind Holmes with stacks of paper and other bits was a young blonde woman.

Leon Holmes: My new personal assistant everyone, do you like her?

Holmes took off both his leather gloves and put them on the pile already in the young ladies arms. Her face look strained from the weight.

Holmes: Take them back to my office Joanne

Woman: Umm, sir my name is Leanne

Holmes: Whatever Joanne, just hurry up

The woman stood there awkwardly

Holmes: Snap, Snap

Holmes clicked his fingers in the most insulting way imaginable sending the young woman scurrying to his office with her arms full

Breeze’s face was obviously portraying huge annoyance and contempt for Leon Holmes, Leon Holmes quickly picked up on this

Leon Holmes: Hello Mr. Breeze, another win eh?

Breeze nodded

Leon Holmes: Lucky BDX interfered before Devastator wiped you out

Breeze: Whatever

Leon Holmes grinned before sitting down in a chair, Breeze glanced at him

Breeze: So… Holmes, what’s it like to be only second in charge, I mean you have a bit of power but you’ll never be at the top

Holmes’ face flinched with irritation from this but quickly regained his composure through years of pressure where the quicker you could keep your cool in situation the further it took you. Holmes had to be good, after all he was at the top. Through Holmes’ speed James Breeze was faster and saw the momentary flicker of annoyance. Breeze sat down looking at Holmes’ with a wide grin

Holmes: So… Breeze, what’s it like to be a lower carder?

Breeze was about to respond but Ace cut in

Ace: So… Holmes, what is it?

Holmes: I would tell you now but I don’t want to spread around my plans while lower carders are listening

Breeze: You’re t…

Holmes cut him off

Holmes: So who’s your next opponent, Mr Breeze?

Breeze: Agent Aaron Smith

Holmes in mock: Ooooh! Wow, isn’t he such a hard opponent?

Breeze was again about to respond

Holmes: I can just see it, outlined on a poster. World Heavyweight Title Match: James ‘The White Penguin’ Breeze V Aaron Smith

Ace stifled a laugh, try though he might he couldn’t help himself, Holmes joined in

Breeze ignored Holmes’ taunts, Holmes not long after left the room, as he passed Breeze, James stuck out his left foot and clipped the ankle of Holmes. Holmes looked to be falling flat on his face when he caught onto a table and swung into the door. His glasses smashed into the door sending Breeze rolling around in laughter. Holmes took then off and through them in the bin. Glaring at Breeze all the while. Breeze continued to laugh ignoring his glare sending Holmes out the door muttering…

Ace turned to Breeze

Ace: Why are you two going at each other’s throats?

Breeze: No reason

Ace: There must be a reason

Breeze: Alright, there is a reason, but I am not going to tell you it

Ace: Why?

Breeze: Because it’s not important

Ace looked a bit taken back: Okay, well anyway so you got a triple threat

Breeze: Yep, same old losers, it’s terribly depressing having to fight Aaron Smith, he’s such a loser. He really is a loser, I don’t know anyone who is more disillusioned than him. It’s like he doesn’t actually know his pathetic. I pity the poor little bastard. He reminds me of Spike Dudley, or have I told you that?

Ace: Yeah, you’ve said it before

Breeze: I thought I did, it’s really funny though, watching him trying to wrestler. I mean I didn’t seriously expect to pin him with a headbutt. I was trying to stop myself from laughing when I got the 3. Talk about pathetic, Hawk should send him to the RW where he would be better suited, he’s not good enough to be here. Plus, he actually believes that me and BDX care about him, he is mad. And to call yourself fearless when your such a poor wrestler is a clear sign of insanity. I am going to do my best to break his neck tonight. I am going to enjoy wringing his little neck and watching him scream for pain, god I hate him

Ace laughed: I noticed

Breeze: So, your match will be hilarious to watch, I hate Devastator as much as the next guy

Ace laughed even harder: We intend to make him pay, we have something up ours sleeves for him

Breeze: Oh? What might that be?

Ace: I can’t possible say

Breeze: Just tell me

Ace: No

Breeze: That’s really annoying

Ace: I should know, you just did it to me

Breeze grunted as Ace was telling the straight truth

Breeze: Okay, well anyway I have to talk with 187

Ace: About what?

Breeze: Nothing that involves you

Ace: It better not be another ambush on poor Zero

Breeze: ‘Better’?

Ace: Yeah

Breeze: Look Ace, don’t get involved in things that don’t involve you

Ace: Look, I’m not going to let someone continue to get their ass jumped by 2 people, when there is only one of them

Breeze: Since when have you become the guardian of Zero?

Ace: I’m a moral person

Breeze: It’s none of your damn business, so stay the hell out of it!

Ace: It’s my business if I make it mine

Breeze: Whatever okay, even if this visit to 187 is about Zero then it’s nothing to do with you okay?

Ace: Whatever

Breeze: I swear to the high heavens Ace, don’t interfere with me and 187, I know we’re friend and that but no-one is going to stop what we need to do, and by that I mean no-one

Ace ignored him

Corridor B11 – XWF Arena
2.24pm Sunday 31st August

Breeze walked out of the room shutting the door behind him. The young woman from before came running back down the hall, she almost tripped over, she was carrying a stack of papers. Leanne the secretary was actually a nice looking woman under glasses and with paper not covering her face. Breeze stopped her, it wasn’t her face that interested him rather the bundle she was carrying

Breeze feigned a shocked expression

Breeze: There you are Leanne, I’ve been looking everywhere for you

Leanne: Oh?

Breeze: Yes, Leon just phoned me on my cell phone, he told me to intercept you and to take those papers off of you, they’re important are they not?

Leanne: Yes, very

Breeze: I know, hand them over. I have been given strict orders to intercept them off of you

Leanne awkwardly handed them over no questions asked

Leanne: Are you sure he said to take them off me?

Breeze nodded: Positive

Leanne hesitated

Leanne: Okay

Breeze: Take the day off

Leanne: What?

Breeze: Take the day off

Leanne: Why?

Breeze: Because I am sure Leon Holmes wouldn’t mind

Leanne: No, its alright’ he’d fire me

Breeze: Listen, Leon Holmes told me you’re only going to get in his way. He really doesn’t care about it, actually if you were to show some intuition and go home he would I think actually be pleased

Leanne: You think

Breeze: Oh, yeah definitely, go on, go home. Leon Holmes will be glad

This in fact was not the case but you’ll find that out later on. Leanne hurried off home leaving Breeze with a number of important documents at his disposal. He walked towards the locker room of 187 and threw the documents into the bin quite near it. He then entered 187’s dressing room, which wasn’t locked

He returned from there not long after with a wicked grin on his face. He walked through the corridors whistling a tune when Leon Holmes came up to him, his face raging

Corridor C2 – XWF Arena
2.57pm Sunday 31st August

Leon Holmes: What have you done with my documents?

Breeze: Whatever do you mean?

Leon Holmes: The pile of paper you took from my secretary Leanne

Breeze: Oh that paper, I threw it in the bin

Holmes’ face looked outraged: You did what?

Breeze: I  t h r e w

Breeze started to explain slowly

Leon Holmes: I know what you said

Breeze: Why did you ask then?

Leon Holmes regained his composure

Leon Holmes: I’ve fired Leanne by the way

Breeze: What!?

Leon Holmes: Thanks to you she won’t have the money to feed her children

Leon Holmes walked off grinning to himself

Breeze started to walk away when Holmes said something else

Leon Holmes: Oh Breeze

Breeze: Yes?

Leon Holmes: Watch your back on Tuesday Night Terror

Breeze laughed at Holmes

Breeze walked away slightly concerned about the threat, only an idiot would not take Leon Holmes seriously. Speaking of idiots got Breeze thinking of Aaron Smith and now was about time for his interview

Interview Room 1 – XWF Arena
3.02pm Sunday 31st August

Breeze continued to walk through the XWF corridors until he got to the interview room where Amanda Hands and the cameraman Dave sat awaiting wrestlers’ and working on computers and phoning people and all other sorts of jobs they needed to do. They were pleased to see Breeze and straight away they started the interview after only brief seconds of setting up the necessary equipment, which was almost ready from the start

Amanda: Hello James Breeze

Breeze: Hi

Amanda: This Tuesday will see you in your third match in XWF, will it indeed be your third victory?

Breeze: I would like to think so, I have not passed so far in wrestling that a jobber can pick up a victory over me or indeed come close

Amanda: Is there any heat between you and Leon Holmes, your former boss, you were never exactly friends, why is it now you two seem to going at each others’ throats?

Breeze: Who told you that?

Amanda: Someone mentioned it

Breeze: Who?

Amanda: It doesn’t matter, so why is it you two are not even civilized any more to one another?

Breeze: It is not important

Amanda: Okay, moving onto Aaron Smith, this man has vowed revenge against you and says he doesn’t know what you’re up against, he has some sort of surprised waiting for you, he also seems to think you’re statements are amusing

Breeze: I know, he must be insane, that’s always a sign of insanity. I really can’t stand the fellow. Revenge? By picking up an easy and fair win, I think not my little agent smith. The fact is I beat you without breaking a sweat then and I will on TNT. You don’t seem to understand that myself and BDX do not care about you. You may be plotting your pathetic little schemes of how to beat me and BDX but you will not get revenge on either one of us. You will instead get an ass whooping. As for any surprise he may have planned I am sure it will just be a new bike but this time bright pink. You see Aaron Smith you really are nothing to me. I’m embarrassed to even feud with you. But I will do it, it won’t drag on. I am just going to destroy you and prove the difference between me a good wrestler and you a witless worm and a poor excuse for anything more than an amateur wrestler. You need to find some medical help for your condition because insanity is not a good thing and I shall not take pity on you just because you are mentally unstable I will finish you Agent Smith and this TNT the white tiger will pounce you will lose yet again, it will be game over and you will Aaron Smith, you will insane or not surely Feel My Hate!

Amanda: Thank you

The camera stopped playing and Breeze made his departure from the interview room. He drove home in his Ferrari 360 Modena. That night he worked out but it was in the mind as much as the body, he thought about Aaron Smith. How anybody could be that stupid. How this TNT he would destroy the weasel who had shot his mouth of many a time. This man was a man that intensely irritated the White Tiger and he was going to get what he deserved whatever the cost. Although whatever the cost may be Breeze was sure it wasn’t all that much, he laughed inwardly at that. Time was ticking, and as it always did it would pass and leave Breeze against Smith, what a horrible feeling for Aaron Smith it must have been but not for Breeze, on the contrary in fact
